New Joinery Apprentice joins our window & door installation team

We are pleased to welcome another new joinery apprentice, Jake Thompson who is studying site joinery at Craven College. He has previous experience of fitting kitchens and repairing canal boats so he already has a good base knowledge of joinery work. Jake is our 7th apprentice here at Timberworks and we always see value in offering support and training for local young people to gain a trade. We are never without work and have recently expanded to offer a whole range of windows and doors including Velfac and Rationel aluminium timber windows as well as those we make in our workshop. The photo is of Jake working on some heritage Georgian windows, in preparation for fitting. We wish him all the best in his apprenticeship.
